Dr. Bourque’s dedication and passion for his profession has only had a positive impact on his personal, professional and family life. In fact, his daughter, Arianne-Michèle Bourque, graduated from the undergraduate doctorate in podiatric medicine at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in June 2019. His daughter Sarah Bourque also graduated in June 2023. What pride for a father!

Custom orthotics
The design of the custom podiatric plantar orthosis requires the realization of a complete biomechanical examination, the taking of precise impressions and the writing of a prescription adapted specifically to the feet and the patient’s pathology.
Pediatric podiatry
Explaining the normal course of development in the child, comforting parents and treating for various conditions such as night leg pain, inward gait, flat feet and frequent falls are all among the care and services offered.
Sports podiatry
The practice of sports activities can have multiple impacts on the lower limbs. Plantar fasciitis, periostitis, knee pain, sprains and stress fractures remain the most often encountered pathologies.
Dermatological care
Regular maintenance of the feet is fundamental to ensure their optimal health. Nail care, debridement of different types of corns and calluses and treatment of different skin pathologies of the foot are all required.
Soft tissue surgery
The management of ingrown toenails can be done, among other things, by surgical approach to relieve symptoms, to prevent superinfection and to prevent recurrences. Neuromas and cysts are other pathologies that may require surgery.
Diabetic foot treatment
The feet of the patient with diabetes are at higher risk of developing lesions, which can sometimes have serious complications. Patient education, injury prevention and optimal treatment of these and its complications are fundamental for this type of clientele.
Nail discoloration laser
The Town of Mount Royal and Boisbriand clinics offer the use of cold lasers to potentially restore a more normal coloration to a discolored nail.
Emergencies
